Description
The RAP-404-TRACKU combines a Medium Tough-Claw clamp mount with a 12″ composite Tough-Track mounting rail. The claw clamps onto any round, square, or irregular rod or rail with an outside diameter of 1″ to 1.6″ without tools—such as kayak rails, roll bars, handlebar bridges, motorcycle handlebars, or boat rails. The track rotates with the mount or can be easily removed by loosening the mounting screw.
Medium Tough-Claw: 1″ to 1.6″ in diameter
The medium Tough-Claw locks with a single twist of the central knob. The rubber coating on the clamping jaws protects the surface of the rail and provides extra grip. Unlocking, repositioning, and relocking are just as quick. The medium size fits rails with an outer diameter of 2.54 cm to 4.06 cm (1″ to 1.6″).
12″ Tough-Track: 10.75″ usable track length
The included Tough-Track composite track has a total length of 12″ (30.5 cm) and a usable inner length of 10.75″ (27.3 cm). The track is center top-loading—you slide track bases in from the center. Compatible with all RAM Mounts track components: track ball bases, action camera adapters, fishing rod holder systems, and more. By loosening the mounting screw between the clamp and the track, the track can be rotated freely or removed entirely when not needed.
