Description
The RAM-TRACK-EXA-13U is a 33 cm (13″) anodized aluminum mounting rail for attaching phone holders, GPS mounts, tablet holders, action camera adapters, and other RAM Mounts components to virtually any flat surface. In a camper, Sprinter, van, or 4WD vehicle, this track system provides a neat, repositionable, and expandable mounting solution without having to drill new holes every time.
How It Works
Secure the track to a flat surface using #8 screws (not included). Then slide RAM track bases into the track—such as a track ball base for a phone holder, an action camera adapter, or a tablet holder. The bases can be positioned anywhere along the track and locked into place with a twist. No additional tools are needed. If you want to use a different device or set up a different configuration, simply slide the component out and slide another one in.
Sizes and Installation Options
The aluminum section is 33 cm (13″) long. The included top-loading end caps add 3.8 cm (1.5″) to each end, bringing the total length to approximately 40.6 cm (16″). There are two installation options: use both top-loading end caps for connection points at both ends of the track, or use one top-loading end cap and seal the other end with the included flush end cap.
Expandable and combinable
The track is compatible with the RAM Center Loader and the 90-Degree Connector, which allow you to connect multiple tracks together or position them at right angles. This system makes virtually any track length and configuration possible. Compatible with B- and C-size RAM track bases for phones, tablets, GPS devices, action cameras, and more.
