Description
The RAP-398-BLK-TRACK-AU is an adhesive mount from RAM Mounts with an integrated 7.25″ (18.4 cm) Tough-Track rail. The mount attaches to virtually any smooth surface using the included 3M VHB double-sided adhesive strip—no drilling or screws required. You can then slide RAM track mounts onto the Tough-Track for phones, action cameras, fishing rods, GPS devices, or other accessories.
Bond-A-Base: Adhesive installation on any smooth surface
The Bond-A-Base is a flexible PVC mounting plate measuring 17.8 cm x 13.7 cm (7″ x 5.375″) that moves slightly with the surface to which it is attached. The included 3M VHB adhesive pad ensures a permanent bond to a dashboard, kayak hull, stand-up paddleboard, or inflatable watercraft. Unused screw holes are sealed with the included plugs. When used on inflatable boats made of PVC or Hypalon, an adhesive suitable for that specific material is recommended.
Tough-Track: Modular Track System
The built-in Tough-Track composite rail has a total length of 7.25″ (18.4 cm). You can slide RAM track ball bases—such as the RAM Track Ball Base with T-bolt—action camera adapters, fishing rod mounting systems, or other compatible RAM track components onto it. Track bases can be attached and removed without tools. Unused positions on the track remain available for future expansion.
