Description
The Starlink Mini 12V Car Adapter is a compatible power cable that lets you connect the Starlink Mini dish directly to your vehicle’s cigarette lighter — no inverter or additional adapter required. Suitable for use in any car, van, RV, or boat with a 12V or 24V cigarette lighter socket.
Input and Connection
The adapter works with any standard 12-24V cigarette lighter socket. The barrel connector end of the cable is IP67 waterproof certified.
Usage and LED Indicator
Red light on the adapter: the adapter is too hot — it will automatically resume normal operation once it has cooled down. No light: normal operation. The CIG plug end of the adapter and the cable are not water-resistant and should not be used outdoors. The cable is intended exclusively for the Starlink Mini — Starlink does not recommend using it to charge phones or other devices.
Please note: Many vehicles disable the cigarette lighter outlet when the ignition is turned off. After restarting, the Starlink Mini takes about 5 minutes to reconnect. For uninterrupted use, consider using a power bank connected in series with pass-through charging support.
