The RAP-299-3-UN11U is a complete tablet mount based on the RAM A-CAN II cup holder. The set consists of three components: the A-CAN II cup holder base, a B-size medium-length double ball joint arm, and an X-Grip cradle for tablets ranging from 12″ to 13″. The base slides into the cup holder of virtually any vehicle—no drilling, no modifications, installed in a minute and removed just as quickly.

RAM A-CAN II Cup Holder Base

The base fits in cup holders with an inner diameter of 6.53 cm to 8.89 cm (2.57″ to 3.5″). The included flexible support fins can be trimmed to fit narrower cup holders. The base is made of durable composite material with a soft outer layer that won’t damage the cup holder.

X-Grip cradle for 12″–13″ tablets

The spring-loaded X-Grip cradle folds open and closes around the tablet, with or without a case. The minimum width is 18.42 cm (7.25″) and the maximum width is 22.23 cm (8.75″). Without the optional side support legs, there is no length restriction. With the support legs, the maximum length is 26.04 cm (10.25″). A rubber coating on the four grip points protects the tablet’s casing. All ports and buttons remain accessible. The quick-release button is located at the back of the cradle.

Double ball joint with two adjustment points

The B-size double ball arm has adjustment points at both ends for virtually unlimited viewing angle adjustment—whether in a standing or lying position. A single turn of the central knob locks both points simultaneously. The ball-and-socket system also absorbs shocks and vibrations.
