Description
The RAM-B-166-UN10U is a complete windshield mount for large smartphones, consisting of a 3.3″ Twist-Lock suction cup, a B-size medium-length double ball joint arm, and a spring-loaded X-Grip holder. Everything you need is included in the box—ready to mount directly on the windshield or any other non-porous surface.
Twist-Lock suction cup: 3.3″ diameter
The suction cup has a diameter of 3.3″ (8.38 cm) and adheres securely to glass and non-porous plastic surfaces. Attachment is a two-step process: press the suction cup against the glass, then turn the locking ring to the ON position. The base is then locked in place. To release it, turn the ring back to the OFF position. The suction cup is also compatible with RAM adhesive disks for mounting on non-glass surfaces.
X-Grip: fits any large smartphone
The spring-loaded X-Grip cradle fits smartphones ranging from 4.45 cm to 11.43 cm in width (1.75″ to 4.5″), with or without a case. The four rubber-coated grip buttons secure the device without blocking any side buttons or ports. Quick release is available via the buttons on the back of the cradle. A rubber safety tether is included and recommended for use in vehicles with higher vibration levels or for outdoor applications.
Double ball joint with two adjustment points
The B-size medium-length double ball arm has adjustment points at both ends for virtually unlimited viewing angle adjustability—whether standing or lying down. The ball-and-socket system absorbs shocks and vibrations, thereby extending the device’s service life. A single turn of the central knob locks both points simultaneously.
