Description
The RAM-GDS-CHARGE-PPS-CIGC is a 2-port cigarette lighter charger from RAM Mounts for use in any vehicle with a standard 12V or 24V cigarette lighter socket. The charger features one USB Type-C port with 30W Power Delivery and one USB Type-A port with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, allowing two devices to be charged quickly at the same time.
USB Type-C: 30W Power Delivery with PPS and PD3.0
The USB Type-C port delivers up to 30W via Power Delivery 3.0. Support for PPS (Programmable Power Supply) ensures better compatibility with iPads and devices that require dynamic power control. This prevents the device from reverting to slower charging when using non-standard charging profiles.
USB Type-A: Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0
The USB Type-A port supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for compatible Android devices and other Quick Charge devices. QC3.0 is up to four times faster than standard charging and up to 38% more efficient than QC2.0.
Built-in safety features
The charger has four built-in safety features: short-circuit protection, overload protection, overvoltage protection, and overheat protection. These protect both the connected devices and the charger itself in the event of abnormal voltage or current conditions in the vehicle.
The low-profile design fits flush into the vehicle's cigarette lighter without protruding. An LED indicator shows that the charger is active. Part of the RAM GDS® ecosystem. RAM Mounts offers a 3-year warranty on this product.
